Welcome! I am Nikolaos Zafeiropoulos, a passionate and driven R&D Software Engineer with extensive experience in full-stack development, machine learning, and health data management. Since 2020, I have been actively working with both frontend technologies (Angular, React) and backend technologies (Flask, Node.js) to deliver cutting-edge solutions. I work at SPACE HELLAS and conduct research at both DAC Lab and i-Lab, focusing on integrating innovative technologies into practical applications.
Leveraging standards such as FHIR to integrate healthcare data across systems for better patient care and data management.
Developing predictive models for stroke, COVID-19, and other diseases using AI, contributing to improved healthcare outcomes.
Using graph neural networks and ontologies for personalized health monitoring, focusing on neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinson’s.

Researching identity management systems and standards for secure, efficient data access in digital health environments.
